Jerrell “The Protej@” Groves, born December 2, 1984 was born and raised in Houston, Tx. Protej@ grew up in different parts of houston such as 3rd Ward Rosedale St., Mo City Hirame Clarke, Alief Tx, southside mostly, but currently residing on the Eastside where he graduated from Northshore High School. Upon making different mistakes he then enlisted in the United States Army where he developed the skills learned in the service that helped develop better character such as Loyalty, Duty, Respect, Selfless Service, Honor, Integrity, and Personal Courage. When Protej@ was honorably discharged from the service, he applied these very skills to become not only an artist or an entreprenuer but an entetainer! In 2007, he met Hidolla and began working on mixtapes such as “Tru To The Game” and “Sweet Beast Vol. 1” and various verses on many artists state to state. Afterwards, Proteja became the lieutenant of HiDolla Muzik, and is working on his 2 upcoming projects: “Protej@ Unleashed” and “Sweet Beast Vol 2” HiDolla’s Project!
